INSTALLATION SUBMISSION FOR THE 14th EDITION OF CHORLTON’S ART FESTIVAL

Chorlton Arts Festival is one of the UK’s leading multi-arts festivals. And it’s taking place from: Friday 15 May, 2015  To: Sunday 24 May, 2015.

Now in its 14th year, the festival showcases local and national talent in music, comedy, visual arts, performance and more, working with over 30 venues in Chorlton

This is the 14th edition for the festival of arts celebrated on one of the most bohemian and prolific artistically talking Manchester suburbs, I had the the pleasure of enjoy it to last year and after an a very great experience with all the artists involved in there I decided that this year I will make my own submission featuring a very special installation called ENTROPY based on Video Mapping Projection and LED strips.

It creates a new dimension to the viewer a space-time tunnel where the energy of light is transferred and transformed through the installation, When experienced within a darkened environment, the animations and sound design allow the viewer to become immersed.

I am very excited about this opportunity to share my first Audiovisual Installation to the public and wishing to see you all there to enjoy it. I will keep updating as more news come to me.

Soup Kitchen’s Video Mapping

There’s a lot of Underground Clubs in Manchester Northern Quarter, but for some evident special reason, Soup Kitchen is considered one of the most  popular and with the one of the most effervescence music offer in town.

I was delighted to know I was commissioned to create a video mapping performance for the guys at the Brooklyn Dub collective and their eclectic and super New York 80’s 90’s style set.

I decided to go with the classic modular Hexagon shape structure due the size of the room and for the flexibility of content that you can play on it. It was a great experience and an honor to be doing some Mapping at the heart of Manchester’s Underground Scene.

Keep an eye on the Brooklyn Dub guys because there’s plenty more to come from those guys.

INFINTE – PROJECT SIMPLY AGENCY WALL MURAL

As a brand new office Project Simply digital agency based in Manchester were so excited to start making their new work space more personal and the new office space was offering like a blank canvas ready to be splashed out,  that is why among other tasks of personalisation and customisation of the study they decided to create a wall mural art, so here is a Time-lapse that we have done of the actual process of creation.

They wanted to have something to not get tired of looking at in the first week that’s why we decided to go for something not quite figurative as objects or characters as they will be looking at this wall every day, so I thought that having a Psychedelic style illustration would suite perfect for that purpose as everyone of us have their own vision and interpretation about the illustration, so it is always fun to look at!

Although we were very happy with original sketch piece and everything was ready to start painting the wall , while creating the piece , some subtle changes were made “live” on the process of creation in certain elements, all to give the full piece a nice flow and style through the whole piece.

So here is the time-lapse video that we created, hope you enjoy as much as we do!
